By the year 1912, Case had become established within the construction machine business. The rapidly started to produce road building machines like graders and steam rollers. Case grew their construction machinery business through different acquisitions, beginning with the American Tractor Corporation in the year 1957. Case had expanded their business by the mid-1990s to become the leading producer of light-sized to medium-sized construction machines.
During the year 1999, Case merged with New Holland to become CNH Global. This company became responsible for advertising some of the world's leading brands of agricultural and construction machinery.
