A type of equipment in the material handling industry which could be used to raise and transport loads from one place to another is known as a forklift. Each and every component of a forklift has a particular function. Various parts can be used to move the load either horizontally or vertically.

Mast
The parts utilized to lift and lower the load is known as the forklift mast. There are various kinds of masts utilized for lifting loads to various heights: quad, simplex, duplex and triplex.

Power Supply

Cab

Frame
Carrying all the largest forklift parts is the frame of the truck. This consists of the counterweights located at the back that prevents the truck from tipping over when loaded. The frame includes the overhead guard which protects the operator. The undercarriage holds the driveshaft, axles and wheels.
